Jennie holds masters’ degrees in exercise science and social work. She is certified as an Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine and as a Personal Trainer & Fitness Nutrition Specialist through the American Council on Exercise in addition to having further training in remedial exercise and senior fitness. Her professional experience includes a broad array of roles since 2001. For example, she has worked as the Wellness Coach for a large pharmaceutical corporation and alongside a physical therapist to provide patient care, education, & programming. Her hybrid approach is informed by her experience as a practicing psychotherapist earlier in her career.
Jennie primarily works with people in midlife and seniors. She delights in serving those new in their wellness journey as well as recreational athletes seeking to head off injuries and improve performance. Supporting people in their healing is a top priority for her, whether it be through the coaching/training relationship, speaking publicly, or her writings.
Jennie herself is a lifelong endurance athlete. Outside of work, she enjoys making music, reading, running, and hanging out with her family.
